Furnace bullion is refined to reduce impurities and then alloyed to bring the metal into specification. Fry’s Metals has a fully accredited laboratory with modern analytical equipment for process analysis. The company supplies a range of standard alloys, and produces alloys specifically to individual customers’ requirements.   Every ingot is stamped with the Grade and Batch Number, and colour coded. The 26-30kg ingots are stacked 40 per bundle with is secured by 4 straps. Approximately bundle mass is 1 150kg. An Analysis Certificate which compares the batch result with the customer’s specification accompanies every batch dispatched.
